CNC Operator, Machine Operator - UK/ Ireland Visa Sponsorship

Role & responsibilities

The CNC Operator will operate computer-controlled machinery to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings, production schedules and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines.
• Load materials, tools and workpieces correctly.
• Read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Check dimensions using measuring instruments.
• Monitor production quality and machine performance.
• Identify machining defects and report technical issues.
• Follow maintenance and safety procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

• ITI, diploma or relevant machining qualification preferred.

• Experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes or other specified equipment.

• Knowledge of machine setup, tooling and measurement.

• Familiarity with G-code, offsets and programme adjustments where required.

• Knowledge of quality-control procedures.
