CNC Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical | Electrical

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot CNC machine electrical, mechanical and control-related problems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC, VMC, HMC and other machine tools.
• Handle servo motors, drives, VFDs, PLC, sensors, limit switches and control panels.
• Identify root causes of machine breakdowns and ensure timely rectification.
• Maintain machine availability and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with production teams for breakdown and maintenance activities.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown records and maintenance MIS.
• Support installation, commissioning and trial runs of new machines.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures during maintenance activities.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with CNC machines and machine-shop equipment.
• Knowledge of CNC controls, PLC, VFD, servo drives and electrical panels.
• Mechanical candidates should have knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Electrical candidates should have strong knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance and control systems.
• Experience in manufacturing / heavy engineering / fabrication industry will be preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
