CNC Machinist - Horizontal Boring Mill - Permanent Position in Germany

Client Overview:
Our client has manufactured custom metal parts for 30 years. They make large, one-off steel parts from technical drawings no mass production. The work is skilled and varied: almost every part is different.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read a drawing and write the CNC program yourself, directly at the machine (Heidenhain Klartext).
• Set up large workpieces: clamp, align, set tools, find the zero point.
• Drill, bore, and mill parts with many holes, threads, and countersinks without missing any detail.
• Handle heavy parts safely using an overhead crane.

Qualifications / Your Profile:

• Trained CNC machinist with several years of experience — setup and programming, not operating only.
• You can turn a drawing into a finished part on your own at the machine.
• Heidenhain Klartext experience — or strong Siemens / Fanuc experience
• Comfortable working on large, heavy parts (moved by crane) on big machines — not small bench-size work.
• Willingness to learn German before reaching Germany (course provided).

Nice to have: You will be an ideal fit, if you also have boring mill experience.
