Cnc Machine Operator

Job Title:

*Qualification:* ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Operate CNC machines with FANUC or Siemens control systems.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and machining instructions.

- Perform machine setting, tool loading, and workpiece clamping.

- Understand CNC programs and make basic program corrections as required.

- Set and adjust machining parameters such as speed, feed, and depth of cut.

- Measure finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.

- Maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality as per specifications.

- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure workplace cleanliness.

- Follow safety procedures and production schedules.

- Identify machining defects and report machine or tooling issues to the supervisor.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of FANUC / Siemens CNC control panels.

- Basic understanding of CNC programming and G-code.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.

- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets, and work offsets.

- Experience using precision measuring instruments.

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

- Experience operating CNC turning or CNC milling machines.

- Knowledge of machining processes, tool selection, and quality inspection.

- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.Role & responsibilities .
