Cnc 5 Axis Milling Operator

Position: CNC 5 Axis Milling Operator
Location: HAL, Bangalore
Salary: 25,000 - 60,000 per month
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent Payroll (with all statutory benefits)
Experience Required: 2 to 6 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for process planning, tool and cutting parameters selection, programming, setup and operation for machining parts on 5 axis CNC Machine Centre
• Plans machining by studying blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and orthographic drawings
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
• Study required sequence of operations
• Fastens raw material and respective tool or cutter in fixture, according to sequence of operation, on appropriate machine
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
  
  
• Skillset:
  
• Strong knowledge of Siemens CNC controller programming and operations.
  
• Experience with 4 & 5-axis CNC machines
  
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
  
• Good understanding of measurement techniques and instruments.
  
• Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field preferred.
