Role Description The Cluster Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Faizabad Cantonment, responsible for driving business growth across an assigned cluster of locations. This role oversees sales targets, implements sales strategies, and manages relationships with distribution partners such as bank branches, agents, POS personnel, automobile dealers, and brokers. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and onboarding new partners, supporting existing channels with product knowledge and sales tools, and monitoring performance metrics to ensure achievement of premium and profitability objectives. The Cluster Sales Manager coordinates with underwriting, operations, and customer service teams to enable smooth policy issuance, renewals, and service resolution. The role also involves conducting regular market visits, competitor analysis, local marketing initiatives, and training sessions to strengthen the cluster's overall sales capability.
Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills, including target achievement, pipeline management, and relationship building with multiple distribution channels.
• Experience in general insurance or financial services, with the ability to understand motor, health, retail, and commercial insurance products.
• Ability to analyze sales reports and market data, track performance, and implement corrective action plans to improve cluster outcomes.
• Competence in stakeholder management, including coordination with internal teams and external partners, and handling escalations professionally.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, with the capability to conduct partner training, product presentations, and field visits.
• Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and online platforms used for policy issuance, reporting, and partner engagement.
• Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management or insurance is an advantage.
• Proven experience in managing a territory or cluster, preferably in insurance or banking, and willingness to travel within the assigned geography.
