II. ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE

• Housing Loan is a growing business for Ujjivan. The Cluster Manager- DSA -Housing Loan is an important position that will drive this business in the respective cluster. The position is responsible for overall growth and success of the business in the cluster.
• Owns the growth of the Housing Loan portfolio in the assigned cluster in terms of business volume and client acquisition.
• Responsible for portfolio quality, risk assessment and supporting recovery initiatives for the assigned portfolio.
• Coordinate with Branch, Credit, Product, Legal and Technical teams to support business expansion, DSA sourcing, market activation and onboarding of required legal and technical evaluators.
• Work closely with product and marketing team to drive suitable branding and marketing activities in his/her respective cluster.

• Managing assets like marketing collaterals, Stationary, Dockets and Systems

IV. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Business/ Financials

• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly achievement of assigned business targets and take timely corrective actions wherever required.
• Engaging & empaneling with various DSA’s in that particular location for increasing Traffic for HL.
• Expand business by identifying, empanelling and activating DSAs across the assigned geography.
• Monitor portfolio quality across delinquency buckets and identify emerging risks for timely action.
• Empanelment & handling of DSA’s with focus on File login.
• Implement and execute the commercial strategy to achieve assigned productivity and business growth targets.
• Ensure adherence to approved credit processes, policies and systems.

Customer (Both Internal & External)

• Ensure customers are educated about all products/services offered by Ujjivan.
• Ensure lower customer attrition by providing different products as per customer requirement.
• Focus on lower TAT as per laid down standards.

Internal Process

• Ensure compliance with lending guidelines, quality framework and audit requirements; ensure speedy resolution of any audit observations and take necessary steps to prevent recurrence audit and other regulations.
• Monitor health of portfolio
• Sanctioning of loans according to the policy in place.
• Ensure adherence to approved credit processes, policies and systems.
• Provide feedback on products, processes and procedures to improve business effectiveness.

Innovation & Learning

• Ensure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for self
• Ensure goal-setting, mid-year review and annual appraisal process within specified timelines for self
• Monitor performance against defined goals/metrics and take corrective action wherever required; continuously improve individual performance and portfolio quality.

V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce or relevant subjects
• An MBA or equivalent is an added advantage

Experience(Years and Core Experience Type)

• 5 years in sales and documentation of loans of which at least 2 years in Housing Loans handling DSA’s, home loans or loan against property in an NBFC/ Bank/HFC. Mixed experience of Sales & Credit is acceptable, but should be predominantly in sales

Certifications

• Relevant certifications shall be an added advantage

Functional Skills

• Ability to independently drive sales performance and take complete ownership of Housing business in the assigned cluster.
• Ability to build strong relationships with DSAs and customers and independently plan and execute marketing and sales initiatives.
• Ability to speak and read regional language(s)- is desirable. Ability to communicate in English (Read-speak-write) is required. Has good verbal fluency and uses simple, clear and purposeful language.
• Adequate Computer knowledge
