Cluster Lead - Security, Navi Mumbai

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and supervise security teams and outsourced service partners across multi-location sites in the cluster
• Plan, implement and enforce best-in-class security standards and governance aligned with business objectives
• Conduct security risk and vulnerability assessments; implement mitigation plans to prevent, detect and respond to incidents
• Provide timely security advice, intelligence and analysis; own crisis management
• Oversee security guarding, employee and visitor management, traffic management, material movement and documentation
• Ensure SLA compliance by vendors; review team and vendor performance periodically
• Conduct annual security audits, periodic inspections and regular facility walk-throughs
• Monitor budgets, costs, billing and commercial aspects of service delivery
• Ensure statutory, legal and safety compliance, along with accurate record-keeping
• Recruit, train and develop security staff; identify and arrange training needs
• Liaise with top management, HODs, auditors, clients, police, fire and emergency authorities
• Ensure OHS&W compliance, including Permit to Work, JSA, HIRA, incident and near-miss reporting, and traffic safety systems

Preferred candidate profile

• 12-15 years of experience, with at least 5 years as Manager/Security Head
• Cross-functional experience handling facility services in a corporate environment
• Preferred industries: Facilities Management, Real Estate, Manufacturing
• Graduate/Postgraduate; Physical Security Professional / Corporate Security certification preferred
• Military/paramilitary background is an added advantage
• Working knowledge of security frameworks; ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 is a plus
• Skills: security automation, manpower handling, administration, communication, safety standards and compliance
• Strong in strategic thinking, accountability, adaptability, leading change, problem solving and stakeholder management
