Cluster Head

Job Purpose

To drive Specialty Diagnostics business growth across an assigned cluster by managing sales operations, strengthening referral networks, expanding key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team. The Cluster Head will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, increasing specialty test volumes, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring effective execution of national sales strategies within the cluster.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Revenue Management

• Drive achievement of cluster revenue targets, Specialty Diagnostics growth, sales performance, and profitable business expansion while ensuring collection efficiency.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

• Lead and develop the ASM team through strategic planning, performance management, field coaching, and talent development to drive cluster sales growth.

Doctor & Referral Network Development

• Build strong relationships with - Oncologists, Gastroenterologists, Neurologists, Nephrologists
• Expand the referral network and increase active referring doctors.
• KOL Development: Ensure regular engagement through scientific discussions and value-added initiatives

Key Account Management

• Manage key healthcare accounts and drive growth.
• Oversee hospital accounts and ensure retention.
• Drive account growth through strategic reviews.
• Manage, retain, and grow key healthcare accounts.
• Lead key accounts to maximize retention and revenue.

Scientific Promotion & Brand Building

• Organize CMEs (Continuing Medical Education Programs) /RTMs, Doctor Meets, Clinical Discussion Forums, Collaborate with PMT, Pathologists and Medical Affairs teams to promote advanced diagnostic solutions.
• Drive awareness and adoption of new specialty tests.

Market Intelligence & Competition Tracking

• Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Drive market expansion through pricing and promotion strategies.
• Monitor competitors and share strategic insights.
• Identify opportunities and support market growth.
• Provide market intelligence to support business decisions.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure timely collection and outstanding management.
• Coordinate with Operations and Laboratory teams for seamless service delivery.
• Resolve customer escalations and service issues promptly.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance requirements.

MIS & Reporting

• Review and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance by monitoring revenue achievement, test volumes, active doctor base, productivity metrics, and collection efficiency, while presenting cluster performance insights and business reviews to management.

Experience

• 12–18 years of experience in Diagnostics, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, or Healthcare Services.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in team handling and regional/cluster management.
• Strong exposure to Specialty Diagnostics, Oncology Diagnostics
