Cluster Construction Manager

Role: PMC Monitoring / Governance | Lead / Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cluster Construction Manager - Solar to lead PMC monitoring activities for utility-scale solar projects. The role involves overseeing construction progress, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, monitoring EPC execution, and ensuring timely completion of civil, mechanical, electrical, and grid-integration activities across assigned solar clusters.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate construction activities across assigned solar project clusters.
• Oversee civil works, piling, foundations, MMS/tracker installation, module erection, DC/AC systems, BoP, SCADA, and grid interconnection activities.
• Review construction progress, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, productivity, and workfront readiness.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, engineering teams, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, and client stakeholders.
• Track project constraints, risks, punch points, and handover readiness.
• Escalate safety, quality, material, design, and interface issues to project leadership.
• Ensure smooth execution from civil release through electrical completion and commissioning readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Required Experience

• 10-15 years of infrastructure construction experience.
• Minimum 5+ years managing large-scale solar projects (500 MW to GW-scale).
• Strong understanding of solar plant construction, EPC coordination, commissioning, and grid integration.

• Cluster progress and look-ahead monitoring reports.
• Constraint and risk logs.
• Completion & punch-list status reports.
• Workfront readiness and handover recommendations.
