Cloud Operations Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Round the clock monitoring of alerts from monitoring agents
• Perform the initial triage of each alert generated from the monitoring tools like PagerDuty, Kibana, Grafana etc.
• Monitor Console / Operations Bridge for events, database backups, batch jobs etc
• Monitor the alerts like disk failure, server failure, Service not responding and escalate to the appropriate team
• Log Ticket and initiate appropriate process based on type of trigger (Event and Incident Management)
• Event Management & Incident Management report preparation.
• Health Checks monitoring.

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of AWS or Azure

Linux Administration & Shell scripting

Moderate Knowledge in Grafana and ELK

Working knowledge of Jenkins, Terraform, Puppet & JIRA

Problem-solving attitude

Collaborative team spirit

Good communication skills required
