As a Cloud Operations Architect, You Will Be Responsible For: - Having skills in aligning customer needs with cloud solutions and infrastructure management.
- Solving complex cloud and compute issues proactively for our customers on Akamai Connected cloud .
- Developing operational support cadences and workflows as part of the Global Cloud Operations team
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve challenges, identify deficiencies and assess the stability of customer cloud workflows
- Guiding and mentoring the front-line team with technical guidance and ensuring customers receive top-quality resolution
- Contributing to the growth of cloud and compute expertise through training, tech talks, knowledge base articles
Do what you love
To Be Successful in This Role You Will:
- Have 4+ years of experience supporting and orchestrating the public cloud, serverless platforms, microservices and a degree in CS or related field
- Have good understanding of cloud concepts with problem solving skills in VMs, Kubernetes, Networking, Security, Storage, and Databases.
- Have expertise in networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, CDN, and load balancing .
- Have knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
- Have familiarity with DevOps , CI/CD , Terraform, Ansible, Chef and Puppet .
- Possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills to effectively work in a fast-paced, customer facing role.
