Summary:

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes strategizing and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and optimized for performance. The position requires collaboration with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process. The engineer plays a key role in enabling organizations to leverage both private and public cloud technologies to achieve advanced operational capabilities and future-ready business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and integration of cloud solutions.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure post-migration to maintain high performance and reliability.
• Document migration processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration activities.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools related to private and public cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and scalable solution design.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during migration processes.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization in cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance considerations in cloud migrations.

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
