Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current infrastructure and solutions to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes planning and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and deliver high performance. The position requires collaboration with various teams to align migration strategies with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process. The engineer plays a key role in enabling organizations to leverage both private and public cloud technologies to achieve advanced business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and integration of systems.

Monitor and optimize cloud migration processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

Document migration procedures and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.

Experience in managing and maintaining database environments to ensure availability and performance.

Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies within cloud and on-premises environments.

Familiarity with cloud platforms and their integration with database systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues during migration and post-migration phases.

The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
