Role Summary We are looking for an experienced

Azure Middleware Platform Architect / Engineering Lead to design, build, secure, and operate a centralized

middleware platform on Azure App Service. The platform will host

internal APIs, externally exposed APIs, and web applications , and must fully comply with

HP Cybersecurity policies and SOX requirements . This role owns the platform

end-to-end —from architecture and build-out to security, compliance, and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable middleware platform on Azure App Service (PaaS) from scratch
• Host and manage:
• Internal APIs
• External APIs
• Web applications
• Define and enforce API standards (security, versioning, throttling, access control)
• Ensure platform compliance with:
• HP Cybersecurity Policy Suite
• Azure Security Architecture standards
• SOX compliance controls
• Own security architecture, access controls, secrets management, logging, and monitoring
• Lead cybersecurity reviews, audit readiness, and compliance evidence
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps standards
• Manage production operations, incidents, and platform reliability
• Act as the single point of accountability for middleware platform governance
