Client Associate

Role & responsibilities :

• GL & Financial Delivery: Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, month-end finalization, P&L/Balance Sheet preparation, and GL reconciliations.
• Client Management: Act as the primary contact for international clients, leading weekly/monthly review calls and managing day-to-day communications.
• SLA & Escalation Control: Ensure strict adherence to service level agreements, resolve client escalations promptly, and apply corrective measures.
• Transitions & Operations: Support new client/process transitions, SOP creation, system testing, and quality management.
• Commercial Support: Assist with revenue billing tracking, collection of receivables, pre-sales support, and identifying up-selling opportunities.
• Compliance & Collaboration: Coordinate with partner firms for statutory compliance and mentor team members on complex accounting matters.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Experience: 6-7 years (2+ years in GL, month-end close, & reporting).
• Education: B.Com, M.Com, or Inter CA/CMA.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel & ERP/Accounting software proficiency.
• Background: BPO/KPO/Global accounting experience with international client handling.
• Key Traits: Strong client management, communication, and attention to detail.
