Civil Site / Safety Engineer (Freshers)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Safety Engineer:

• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, construction standards, and site safety procedures.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Monitor site activities and working conditions to identify and control potential hazards.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safe working practices.
• Support emergency preparedness and site safety awareness programs.
• Report, investigate, and document accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, permits, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors to maintain safety standards.

Site Engineer:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day civil construction activities.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and ensure work is executed as per approved requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and work schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards and QA/QC procedures are followed.
• Identify technical issues, site constraints, and delays and coordinate corrective actions.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, quantity measurements, and billing documentation.
• Maintain daily site reports, progress records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with design, MEP, QA/QC, and safety teams for smooth project execution.
• Support testing, snag rectification, project handover, and close-out activities.
