Civil Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

• Execute and supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.
• Supervise activities including excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, backfilling, masonry, flooring, finishing, roads and drainage works.
• Read and interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings and ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with civil contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors and site teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor manpower, material and equipment deployment at site.
• Check the quality of construction materials and workmanship at different stages of execution.
• Conduct site measurements and assist in quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, material reconciliation and contractor billing.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Ensure construction work is completed within the planned schedule and quality parameters.
• Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Progress Reports and Monthly Progress Reports.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Strong understanding of civil construction and site execution.
• Hands-on experience in RCC, concreting, excavation, backfilling, shuttering and finishing works.
• Knowledge of quantity calculation, measurements, BOQ and contractor billing.
• Ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Good contractor and site-team coordination skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently at project sites and manage multiple site activities.
