Job Description

ARORA RCC WORKS is looking for an experienced Civil Site Engineer to manage and supervise civil construction activities at its ongoing railway infrastructure project at Mandhana Railway Station, Kanpur.

The ideal candidate should have 5-6 years of experience in civil construction, with strong knowledge of site execution, quality control, quantity estimation, billing, and project coordination. Candidates with prior railway infrastructure construction experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Execute platform construction, earthwork, retaining walls, concrete works, and related civil engineering activities.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct quality checks, including concrete slump tests, cube testing, and material inspections.
• Coordinate with railway officials, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site records, measurements, and material consumption statements.
• Handle quantity estimation, BOQ verification, Measurement Books (MB), and contractor billing.
• Monitor manpower, machinery, materials, and work schedules to ensure timely project execution.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate their timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable railway specifications, construction safety procedures, and quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

• B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• 5-6 years of relevant civil construction experience.
• Prior railway infrastructure project experience will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of civil construction execution and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ, BBS, Measurement Books, and billing.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Good communication, coordination, and team management skills.
• Willingness to work full-time at the Mandhana Railway Station project site in Kanpur.
