Civil Quality Engineer

Position Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer Civil with 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC for industrial civil projects, preferably in machine foundations, heavy equipment foundations, or similar engineering projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance across civil construction activities, maintaining quality documentation, conducting inspections, and coordinating with project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure quality control of civil works related to machine foundations, RCC works, and structural activities.
• Inspect incoming materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, grout, and anchor bolts as per approved specifications.
• Verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and coordinate laboratory testing wherever required.
• Conduct stage-wise inspections covering:
• Excavation
• PCC
• Reinforcement
• Formwork
• Embedded items
• Concreting
• Grouting
• Finishing works
• Ensure site activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), checklists, inspection reports, and quality records.
• Identify quality issues, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, and Clients during inspections.
• Ensure measuring instruments and testing equipment are properly calibrated and used correctly.
• Monitor concrete quality, cube testing, curing, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish of foundations.
• Verify alignment, levels, centerlines, dimensions, and tolerances of machine foundations before handover.
• Maintain daily quality inspection reports and project quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and client-specific requirements during project execution.
• Support internal and client audits and maintain all quality-related records.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in Civil QA/QC or Quality Control.
• Experience in industrial civil projects, machine foundations, heavy equipment foundations, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of RCC works, reinforcement inspection, concrete quality control, and foundation works.
• Good understanding of IS Codes, quality standards, inspection procedures, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, documentation, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India.
