Civil - Project Manager/ Senior Project Manager/ Project Head / DGM

Role & responsibilities

The Senior professional will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of housing construction projects within the real estate sector. This includes project management, design and planning, structural analysis, site management, quality control, cost estimation and budgeting, risk management, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

1. Project Management:

- Lead and manage housing construction projects from initiation to completion.

- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to them.

- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

2. Design and Planning:

- Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineers to develop comprehensive plans and blueprints for residential buildings.

- Ensure designs are innovative, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant building codes and regulations.

3. Structural Analysis:

- Conduct thorough structural analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of residential structures.

- Utilize engineering software and tools to evaluate structural designs and propose necessary modifications.

4. Site Management:

- Supervise construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

- Monitor construction progress, resolve any issues or conflicts that arise, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.

5. Quality Control:

- Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain high construction standards.

- Inspect construction materials, methods, and workmanship to identify and address any deficiencies.

6. Cost Estimation and Budgeting:

- Estimate project costs accurately and prepare detailed budgets.

- Monitor project expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.

7. Risk Management:

- Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with construction projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.

- Proactively address any issues that may arise during the construction process to minimize disruption and delays.

8. Team Leadership:

- Lead a team of engineers, drafters, and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support as needed.

- Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum of 12 years of experience in housing construction or related field, with demonstrated expertise in project management and structural design.

- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools.

- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
