Civil Engineer Quantity | Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs from architectural and civil drawings.
- Review drawings, specifications and scope to ensure accurate quantity estimation.
- Assist in cost estimation and rate analysis for construction activities.
- Prepare and verify material quantity requirements for projects.
- Coordinate with Design, Projects, Procurement and Contracts teams for quantity-related requirements.
- Analyse vendor/subcontractor quotations and support commercial comparisons.
- Track project quantities, variations and revisions against approved BOQs.
- Conduct quantity reconciliation for materials and executed works.
- Maintain accurate quantity sheets, measurement records and MIS reports.
- Support the team in cost optimisation and value engineering across projects.
