Civil Finishing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil finishing works as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, MEP teams, and other stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Plan and monitor finishing activities including flooring, tiling, plastering, painting, false ceiling, waterproofing, doors, windows, and other architectural works.
• Review drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and method statements before execution.
• Ensure quality of workmanship and compliance with approved materials and construction standards.
• Monitor site progress and coordinate with contractors to achieve project milestones.
• Conduct inspections and ensure timely rectification of snags and defects.
• Coordinate with MEP and other services to avoid interface issues and rework.
• Monitor material requirements, approvals, and availability at site.
• Maintain daily progress reports and highlight delays, quality issues, and site constraints.
• Support testing, inspection, handover, and close-out activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 510 years of experience in civil finishing and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing works, construction methods, quality standards, and site execution.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Experience in residential, commercial, hospital, institutional, Hotel or high-rise projects will be an advantage.
