Civil Engineer

Location: Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Site Supervision: Oversee and manage day-to-day civil construction and structural expansion activities for the existing plant facility in line with approved drawings and PMC standards.

• Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all civil construction works comply with applicable codes, safety guidelines, quality standards, and environmental regulations.

• Vendor & Contractor Management: Supervise contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure project execution strictly adheres to project timelines, milestones, and design specifications.

• PMC Coordination: Function as the key PMC representative on site, coordinating seamlessly between plant management, design consultants, and contractor teams.

• Site Inspections & Testing: Conduct regular site visits, material inspections, and structural testing to ensure adherence to specified standards and bill of quantities (BOQ).

• Billing & Progress Reporting: Review and verify contractor bills, measure quantities, monitor progress against baseline schedules, and prepare weekly/monthly PMC progress reports.

• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify constructability issues, engineering bottlenecks, or site delays and implement effective technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

• Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience in civil site execution, structural expansion, and project management within the Manufacturing / Industrial sector.

• Industrial Expertise: Prior experience in plant expansion, industrial civil construction, steel structure setup, and PMC site management is highly preferred.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of civil/structural execution, site quality control, measurement verification, BOQ, and safety norms (HSE).

• Communication & Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise across multiple stakeholders, project teams, and client management
