Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review basic and detailed engineering documents for thermal power plant infrastructure packages.
• Prepare tender specifications, technical specifications, and engineering deliverables in accordance with project requirements.
• Review and approve Design Basis Reports (DBRs), engineering calculations, design documents, drawings, and technical data sheets submitted by consultants and vendors
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, statutory requirements, and project specifications. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, statutory requirements, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, vendors, and cross-functional project teams for timely execution of engineering activities.
• Provide technical support during engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of the project.
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure timely delivery of quality engineering outputs.
• Conduct technical evaluation of vendor documents, design submissions, and consultant deliverables.
• Review structural designs and drawings related to power plant infrastructure, including foundations, buildings, and associated facilities.
• Ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and optimization of designs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Hands-on experience with STAAD Pro and other structural design and analytical software.
• Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering practices for thermal power projects.
• Familiarity with engineering standards, design codes, and industry best practices.

Preferred Industry Background:

• Supercritical Thermal Power Plants.
• Coal-Based Power Generation Projects.
• EPC / Power Plant Engineering Organizations.
• Thermal Power Plants with unit capacities of 500 MW and above.

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Supercritical Thermal Power Plant projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and structural engineering for Thermal Power Plants with unit capacities of 500 MW or above.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in civil engineering.
• Relevant experience in Civil & Structural Engineering for Thermal Power Plants.
