Civil Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to plan, design, supervise, and manage civil construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, project-management skills, and the ability to ensure that construction work meets approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

• Prepare and review engineering drawings, designs, specifications, and BOQs.
• Plan and supervise construction activities at project sites.
• Monitor work progress, materials, manpower, and equipment.
• Ensure construction is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project teams.
• Check quantities, measurements, estimates, and material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and safety procedures.
• Perform quality-control inspections and maintain project documentation.
• Prepare progress reports, site reports, and other engineering documentation.
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
• Identify construction risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Ensure projects are completed within the required time, cost, quality, and safety parameters.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, surveying, estimation, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• RCC and structural construction knowledge
• Knowledge of concrete and construction-material testing
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures
• Understanding of health and safety requirements
