Job Summary

SGS is looking for experienced Civil Engineers Site Execution for a project at Dholera, Gujarat. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in civil construction, RCC and structural works, site supervision, subcontractor coordination, quantity measurement and construction quality & safety.

The role is primarily site-execution focused and requires candidates who can independently manage construction activities and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project timelines. Similar current civil-execution roles emphasize day-to-day site supervision, drawing interpretation, RCC execution, subcontractor coordination, progress monitoring and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute RCC, structural and finishing works at site.
• Read, interpret and implement IFC/construction drawings.
• Check reinforcement, shuttering, levels, line, alignment and concreting activities.
• Prepare and verify Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and reinforcement quantities.
• Carry out quantity measurements and verify work quantities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, vendors and project teams.
• Monitor daily construction progress against project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to site safety, PPE and HSE requirements.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Monitor manpower, materials and equipment requirements.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the project team for timely resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of RCC and structural execution.
• Hands-on experience in industrial / large-scale construction projects will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of BBS, reinforcement and quantity estimation.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of construction quality control and site safety practices.
• Good communication and subcontractor coordination skills.
• Strong site-management and problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to work at project site in Dholera, Gujarat.

Education & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech – Civil Engineering.
• 5–7 years of relevant civil site execution experience.
• Candidates with strong RCC/structural and large-scale construction exposure will be preferred.
