Job Title: Associate Civil Engineer Project Monitoring & Coordination

Location: Head Office, Sector 3, Noida

Department: Development Consulting / Project Monitoring & Coordination

Role Purpose

The Associate will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating government or IFI/development-partner-funded consulting projects from the Noida head office. The role involves ~80% project monitoring & coordination and ~20% business development/proposal support.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Monitoring: Review contracts/TORs, prepare project control matrix, coordinate workplans, consultant mobilisation, dashboards, and deliverables.
• Client Coordination: Support project leadership in client/PMU interface, arrange meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and track approvals/actions.
• Progress Reporting: Maintain trackers, compile weekly/fortnightly updates, and coordinate monthly progress reports.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure reports meet TOR coverage, standards, and presentation quality.
• Risk & Contract Administration: Maintain risk/issue registers, consultant records, deliverable acceptance, and contractual submissions.
• Business Development: Assist in bid review, compliance matrices, and drafting methodology/technical approach sections.

Candidate Profile

• Education:
  
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
• Postgraduate in Project/Construction Management, Infrastructure Planning, Environmental Engineering (preferred)
• Experience:
  
• 34 years in civil engineering consultancy, PMC, project coordination, or project controls
• Experience with government/World Bank/ADB/UN-funded projects preferred
• Exposure to proposal drafting (U&M/methodology) desirable
• Sector exposure in buildings, water & sanitation, transport, urban development, solid waste, climate resilience, etc.

Core Skills

• Project Coordination: Strong planning, follow-up, and coordination across teams and clients.
• Project Controls: Ability to maintain schedules, dashboards, deliverables, risks, and approvals.
• Reporting & Documentation: Clear reporting, submission tracking, and audit trail maintenance.
• Technical Judgement: Understanding of civil engineering concepts and ability to review technical inputs.
• Communication: Excellent written & verbal English; strong business correspondence.
• Digital Skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with MS Project/Primavera, PMIS, AutoCAD advantageous.
