What you'll do

• Be the quality gatekeeper, from incoming material to final handover
• Test and approve construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, finishes) before they're used
• Inspect every stage, from reinforcement and concreting to waterproofing and finishes, with the authority to stop work that isn't right
• Run the site lab and keep quality records clean and complete
• Lead pre-handover inspections so every homeowner gets a snag-free home
• Train supervisors and contractors to build it right the first time

You'll fit if you have

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 2–6 years of QA/QC or site experience on residential or building projects
• Working knowledge of IS codes and site testing (cube tests, slump, sieve analysis)
• The confidence to say this isn't good enough, and the skill to get it fixed
