Job Description
We are hiring experienced and skilled Civil Engineers for a leading construction and logistics company in Mauritius. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of civil engineering, construction site management, project execution, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Read and interpret civil engineering drawings, plans, and layouts.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, subcontractors, and other project teams.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Inspect construction materials and workmanship to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and company policies.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Relevant experience in civil construction and site supervision preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, engineering drawings, and site execution.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to work in Mauritius.
