Civil Engineer Construction Site

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction and site execution activities.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedule.
• Manage and coordinate civil contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and labour.
• Monitor RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, PCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Check measurements, levels, alignment, dimensions, and workmanship at site.
• Read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Monitor quality of construction work and ensure that work is done in compliance to QAP.
• Track manpower, material requirements, consumption, and wastage.
• Verify contractor measurements, BOQ, quantity estimates, and RA bills.
• Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules and highlight delays/issues.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Resolve day-to-day technical and execution-related issues at the project site.
