About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Civil Engineer to manage and oversee civil construction projects, with a strong focus on marine works, jetty construction, bridge works, piling, foundations, and concrete construction.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in planning, execution, supervision, and project coordination, with proven expertise in precast concrete piling and foundation works. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, within budget, and as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day execution of civil construction projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise marine, bridge, piling, foundation, jetty, and concrete construction works.
• Lead and guide site engineers, supervisors, contractors, subcontractors, and other project teams.
• Prepare and implement construction schedules to ensure timely completion of project activities.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and project plans for accuracy, constructability, and feasibility.
• Supervise precast concrete pile driving, piling works, foundation works, and related construction activities.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, manpower, materials, equipment, and site resources.
• Prepare and review material take-offs, quantities, estimates, work drawings, and project-related documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify construction-related issues and provide practical and timely solutions.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards, statutory regulations, and project safety requirements.
• Implement quality control procedures and ensure all works meet required standards and specifications.
• Monitor project costs and resource utilization and support effective cost control.
• Maintain proper records of site activities, measurements, materials, progress, and project documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, approvals, testing, and handover activities as required.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and requirements effectively to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered within the approved scope, quality, cost, and schedule.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil construction/project management.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a reputed institute.
• Candidates with an additional NICMAR qualification will be preferred.
• Strong experience in piling, foundation, marine construction, and/or jetty construction.
• Hands-on experience in precast concrete pile installation/piling and foundation works is highly preferred.
• Experience in bridge and concrete construction projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, execution, site management, and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
• Experience in quantity estimation, material take-offs, work drawings, and project documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership and team-management abilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Good knowledge of construction quality, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to work at project sites and manage construction activities as required.
