Civil Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare civil engineering drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and detailed layouts using AutoCAD.
• Develop drawings as per architectural designs, engineering specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and revise construction drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Read and interpret architectural plans, structural drawings, and technical documents.
• Ensure accuracy, proper dimensions, annotations, and drawing standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project teams for drawing clarifications and modifications.
• Maintain and organize drawing files, revisions, and project documentation.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and other project-related technical drawings.
• Ensure drawings are completed within project timelines and comply with applicable standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering, Draftsmanship, or a relevant field.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting) is mandatory.
• Understanding of civil engineering drawings, dimensions, plans, sections, and elevations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of construction terminology and basic civil engineering principles.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and good coordination skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office is an added advantage.
