Purpose: We are looking for a skilled Civil Earthworks Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with 3D modeling platforms and a strong background in creating detailed designs and drawings for various projects, particularly in material handling.
The Role
As a Civil Designer-Earthworks with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.

Purpose: We are looking for a skilled Civil Earthworks Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with 3D modeling platforms and a strong background in creating detailed designs and drawings for various projects, particularly in material handling.
The Role
As a Civil Designer-Earthworks with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.
- Develop 3D models using Civil3D / 12D / InRoads / OpenRoads ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and documentation as required.
- Utilize AutoCAD and MicroStation for design and drafting tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
- Support material handling projects through effective design and modeling.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all designs meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in structural design.
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Civil Earthworks/ Roads/ Drains modelling & 2D drawings.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling platforms (Civil3D / 12D / InRoads / OpenRoads) is essential.
- Strong skills in AutoCAD and MicroStation are required.
- Familiarity with material handling projects is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
