Civil And Structural Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Ability to manage heavy piling, massive equipment foundations, and soil stabilization required for incredibly heavy equipment
• Expertise in designing structures that can withstand intense dynamic loads and continuous vibrations from heavy overhead cranes (FTMs), massive compressors, and induction furnaces
• Understanding how extreme thermal exposure affects reinforced concrete and steel structure
• Knowledge of protective coatings, specific concrete mixes, and structural detailing to resist highly corrosive environments
• supervising large-scale excavation, cut-and-fill operations, and grading across expansive tracts of undeveloped land
• Skill in planning and executing early-stage civil works, including massive storm drainage networks, heavy-haul internal roads, perimeter security, and temporary construction facilities
• The ability to coordinate tightly with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, and Process) to ensure that concrete embedded parts, anchor bolts, and structural steel frames perfectly match the incoming process equipment
• Knowledge of structural detailing to handle the intense magnetic fields generated by the high-amperage direct current
• Experience overseeing the rapid, safe erection of massive structural steel segments
• Mastery of quality control procedures, concrete mix design testing, weld non-destructive testing (NDT), and international codes
