Civil and Structural Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of offshore platforms, topsides, jackets, modules, and support structures.
• Develop detailed structural models, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and construction deliverables using Tekla Structures.
• Prepare platform framing plans, structural sections, connection details, and fabrication drawings.
• Execute structural design calculations in accordance with API RP 2A, ISO 19902, DNV-ST-0126, and AISC standards.
• Perform in-place, operating, transportation, lifting, and load-out structural analyses using STAAD.Pro and/or SACS.
• Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTO), BOQs, and steel weight reports.
• Review vendor equipment loads and incorporate them into structural designs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation.
• Support offshore brownfield modifications, constructability reviews, IFC, and As-Built engineering activities.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with client specifications, international codes, and project quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5-6 years of experience in offshore civil and structural engineering.
• Strong knowledge of offshore design codes and standards, particularly DNV and API.
• Proficiency in Tekla Structures and STAAD.Pro is mandatory.
• Experience in structural analysis, detailing, and offshore engineering deliverables.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
