Civil and Structural Engineer - Leading

Lead Role Responsibilities

• Lead the civil and structural engineering design of AIS/GIS substations up to 220 kV and above, ensuring safe, optimized, and cost-effective solutions in compliance with international and client-specific standards.
  
• Provide technical leadership for the analysis and design of substation structures using STAAD.Pro, including equipment support structures, gantries, steel structures, and associated civil works.
  
• Direct the development and review of civil and structural designs for equipment foundations, control buildings, cable trenches, roads, drainage systems, and other substation infrastructure.
  
• Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of structural calculations, engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and design documentation for substation projects.
  
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices, design quality procedures, and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
  
• Lead design verification and interdisciplinary coordination activities while reviewing and validating engineering deliverables prepared by internal teams, subcontractors, and external design consultants.
  
• Provide strategic guidance on foundation engineering, including conventional, pile, and special foundation solutions, ensuring technical feasibility and construction efficiency.
  
• Manage and mentor a team of civil and structural engineers, allocating resources, monitoring performance, and supporting technical development across projects.
  
• Act as the primary technical authority for civil and structural engineering matters, resolving complex engineering challenges and providing expert recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
