City Sales Manager

Jobs Territory is looking for an ambitious and hands-on City Sales Manager for our client to drive revenue growth, manage Distribution Center sales operations, and expand the fresh produce business across Bangalore.

The candidate will be responsible for leading the city sales team, developing strong trade relationships, and ensuring smooth operations from the warehouse floor to account receivables.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive city-wide sales targets for fresh fruits across Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT).
• Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Oversee daily Distribution Center sales operations, including grading, repacking, quality management, and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate fresh fruit inventory and minimize wastage/spoilage.
• Ensure accurate daily sales and stock reporting.
• Recruit, train, and manage sales and operational teams.
• Manage credit terms, receivables, and collections from MT and GT clients.
• Build strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and business buyers.
• Monitor city-level sales budgets, KPIs, and P&L performance.
• Report sales performance and business health to senior management.

Candidate Profile

•4-7 years of experience in B2B Sales, Fresh Produce, FMCG, or Q-Commerce Sales & Operations.
• Experience managing Modern Trade and General Trade accounts.
• Hands-on knowledge of fresh fruit supply chains, shelf-life management, and DC operations.
• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
• Experience managing credit cycles and collections.
• Strong team leadership and people-management skills.
• MBA from a reputed B-School.
• Fluency in English and Kannada strongly preferred.
• Bangalore-based candidates with relevant local market experience preferred.
