Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Citrix L3 Engineer with strong expertise in Citrix Desktop and Server Virtualization, infrastructure management, incident resolution, and technical troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for handling critical escalations, resolving major incidents, implementing permanent fixes, and ensuring the stability and performance of the virtual desktop infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Citrix Desktop and Server Virtualization environments.
• Handle L2 escalations and major incidents, ensuring permanent resolution of recurring issues.
• Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for major incidents.
• Prepare Plans of Action (POA) and implement major infrastructure changes.
• Manage Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
• Administer Provisioning Services (PVS), Machine Creation Services (MCS), StoreFront, and Citrix License Server.
• Work with hypervisors such as VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, XenServer, or Nutanix AHV.
• Manage LUN creation, shared storage, and storage mapping to hypervisors.
• Coordinate with OEM vendors during critical incidents and implement recommended solutions.
• Troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, user access, and connectivity-related issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and communicate incident updates to stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Citrix Desktop Virtualization.
• Expertise in Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, or CVAD.
• Experience with PVS/MCS, StoreFront, and Citrix License Server.
• Knowledge of VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, XenServer, or Nutanix.
• Understanding of storage, LUNs, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management.
• Experience handling L3 escalations, major incidents, and RCA documentation.

Educational Qualification

• Any graduate, preferably from an IT background.
• MCP certification preferred.
• Citrix CVAD certification preferred.

Required Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience handling client escalations and coordinating with OEM vendors.
• Good documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a 247 support environment.

Interview Process

• Two technical interview rounds.
• Virtual and face-to-face interviews at the office.
