Cisco Meraki Network Security Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Configure, manage and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki MX Security Appliances, MS Switches and MR Wireless Access Points.
• Administer and monitor enterprise networks through the Meraki Dashboard.
• Configure and troubleshoot SD-WAN, Auto VPN, site-to-site VPN and client VPN.
• Manage firewall rules, ACLs, NAT, IDS/IPS, content filtering and network security policies.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, routing, switching and connectivity issues.
• Perform network monitoring, firmware upgrades, configuration changes and root cause analysis.
• Implement network segmentation, secure access controls and high-availability solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and ISPs for incident resolution and network optimization.
• Maintain network documentation, network diagrams, SOPs and incident reports.

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki MX, MS and MR.
• Meraki Dashboard administration and troubleshooting.
• Firewall configuration, VPN, SD-WAN and network security.
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, ACLs and routing/switching fundamentals.
• Experience in L2/L3 network troubleshooting and incident management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Cisco CCNA / CCNP or Cisco Meraki certifications.
• Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, network segmentation and access control.
• Experience with Wireshark, network monitoring tools and enterprise network environments.
