Job Summary
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant. In this role, you will:
Responsibilities - Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
- Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
- Lead or participate on large cross group projects
- Mentor less experienced staff
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all management levels
- Ability to multi-task and finish work within strict timelines and provide timely requests for information and follow-up questions
- Eagerness to contribute collaboratively on projects and discussions
- Perpetual interest in learning something new, but being comfortable with not knowing the all the answers
- Attention to detail in both analytics and documentation
- Aptitude for synthesizing data to ''form a story'' and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective
- As a Team Member, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself and the business. Specifically you will:
- Create an environment where team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them
- Lead implementation of complex initiatives with moderate to high risk for the line of business.
- Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
