About the Role
Royal China is seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Chef with strong knowledge of authentic Chinese cuisine, professional kitchen operations and food safety standards.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in a reputed Chinese restaurant, premium dining establishment or five-star hotel.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare authentic Chinese dishes while maintaining consistent quality, taste and presentation.
* Demonstrate expertise in wok cooking, sauces, stir-fries and traditional Chinese cooking techniques.
* Follow standardised recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines.
* Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with FSSAI requirements.
* Ensure proper food storage, temperature control, labelling and stock rotation.
* Monitor ingredient quality, inventory, food wastage and portion control.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment.
* Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
* Follow kitchen SOPs and assist with training junior kitchen staff.
Qualifications & Experience
* Preferred: Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management or Food Production.
* Minimum 2 years of experience specialising in Chinese cuisine.
* Previous experience in a reputed Chinese restaurant, premium dining establishment or five-star hotel preferred.
* Strong knowledge of authentic Chinese ingredients, sauces and cooking techniques.
* Experience in wok cooking is essential.
* Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
Salary & Benefits
40,000–60,000 per month, depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
