Chief Technology Officer

Parity Search has been mandated by its client - a leading NBFC to onboard a CTO - who will lead the

technology vision, architecture, and execution for the organization. The role is responsible for enabling scalable, secure, and compliant platforms to support business growth. The role will drive

digital transformation ,

data-led decision-making , and

technology modernization , with a clear focus on

NBFC operations, lending systems, treasury platforms, and regulatory technology. The CTO will act as a strategic partner to the business, ensuring that technology is aligned with risk, compliance, and customer experience priorities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities 1] Technology Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the company’s

enterprise technology roadmap aligned with business strategy

• Lead digital transformation initiatives across

all verticals and functions

• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (AI/ML, automation, analytics) to improve efficiency and scalability.

2] Core Systems & Architecture

• Oversee design, implementation, and optimization of key platforms
• Ensure systems are scalable, modular, and integrated with third-party ecosystems as required

3] Data, Analytics & MIS

• Build and drive a

data strategy that enables real-time decision making across lending, risk, and finance

• Implement robust

BI dashboards, reporting frameworks , and analytics platforms.

• Partner with CFO/Risk teams to strengthen

portfolio analytics, ECL modeling, and performance tracking 4] Information Security & Risk Management

• Establish enterprise-wide

cybersecurity frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements.

• Ensure protection of sensitive financial and customer data through strong controls, monitoring, and governance.
• Drive

IT risk management , audits, and compliance readiness for regulatory inspections.

5] Regulatory Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with applicable

RBI, SEBI, and other regulatory guidelines, cybersecurity frameworks , and data governance standards

• Build robust processes for

IT audits, system controls, and documentation

• Partner with compliance/audit teams for governance and reporting requirements

6] Digital Innovation & Customer Experience

• Enhance

customer and partner journeys through intuitive digital platforms and automation.

• Lead initiatives to enhance customer experience, ecosystem and workflow automation.
• Improve turnaround time (TAT), operational efficiency, and user experience across channels.

7] Vendor & Partner Ecosystem Management

• Manage relationships with

technology vendors, fintech partners, system integrators , and cloud providers

• Evaluate build vs buy decisions and negotiate contracts to optimize cost and performance.

8] Technology Operations & Infrastructure

• Ensure reliability and uptime of all systems through

strong IT operations, cloud infrastructure, and disaster recovery planning .

• Drive scalability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.

9] Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Build and lead a high-performing

engineering, data, and IT operations team .

• Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability
• Upskill teams in emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with significant exposure to

NBFC / BFSI / lending ecosystems

• Strong experience in implementing and scaling

core lending systems, digital platforms, and integrations

• Proven track record in

technology transformation and modernization initiatives .

• Hands-on exposure to

cloud architecture, data platforms, and enterprise systems integration . Additionally preferred

• Experience in

fintech partnerships, API ecosystems, or digital lending platforms .

• Familiarity with

AI/ML use cases in credit, fraud detection, or customer analytics.

• Experience managing

cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory technology compliance.

Educational Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in

Computer Science / Engineering / IT or related field.

• Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) is an advantage
• Certifications in

cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), cybersecurity, or enterprise architecture are a plus.
