Job Summary

Doctor Seeds Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a strategic, analytical, and execution-oriented Chief of Staff to work closely with senior management on business planning, operational excellence, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional coordination.

The role involves translating management priorities into actionable plans, coordinating execution across departments, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying operational challenges, and ensuring timely delivery of business objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, project management capabilities, analytical skills, and the ability to drive accountability across multiple functions in a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Management Support

• Work closely with senior management on strategic planning, business priorities, and growth initiatives.
• Translate management decisions into structured action plans with defined responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Support the development and execution of business plans, operational priorities, and strategic projects.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Research & Development (R&D), Production, Processing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Farm Operations.
• Ensure alignment between departmental priorities and overall business objectives.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to resolve execution challenges.
• Follow up with department heads to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.

3. Project Management & Execution

• Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives, projects, and management decisions.
• Define project milestones, timelines, deliverables, and performance indicators.
• Identify delays, execution risks, operational bottlenecks, and dependencies.
• Drive accountability and ensure timely resolution of pending actions.
• Recommend corrective measures to improve execution efficiency and project outcomes.

4. Performance Monitoring & Management Reporting

• Track departmental KPIs, business performance, project milestones, and operational metrics.
• Prepare management dashboards, progress reports, and performance summaries.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Maintain structured reporting systems and action trackers.

5. Management Meetings & Follow-Up

• Participate in management meetings and document key decisions and action points.
• Maintain decision logs and action trackers with clear owners and deadlines.
• Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure commitments are fulfilled.
• Escalate critical issues and delays requiring management intervention.
• Ensure effective communication of priorities and decisions across departments.

6. Business Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and coordination.
• Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and management systems.
• Assist with product management, business development, and other strategic initiatives.
• Promote data-driven decision-making, process discipline, and continuous improvement.

Educational Qualifications

• MBA / PGDM from a reputed university or institution.
• Specialization in Agri-Business Management, Operations Management, Strategy, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant qualifications and strong experience in business operations or strategic execution may also be considered.

Experience Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in strategic planning, business operations, project management, management consulting, or cross-functional leadership.
• Experience working directly with senior management, business leaders, or functional heads will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate across departments, and drive execution is preferred.
