Chief of Staff - Finance

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with the Chairman and Managing Director on strategic financial planning, business reviews, and executive decision-making.
• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance reviews across business units.
• Prioritize and manage multiple strategic and financial initiatives simultaneously.
• Coordinate with Finance and cross-functional teams to collect financial data and prepare business cases, MIS, dashboards, and executive presentations
• Plan and manage the chairman and managing director's strategic finance agenda, including business reviews and investment discussions.
• Track key business and financial KPIs, monitor progress, and ensure timely closure of action items.
• Support fundraising, banking, investor relations, treasury, and other strategic financial initiatives as required.
• Act as the primary point of coordination between the Chairman and Managing Director and internal/external financial stakeholders.
• Prepare board presentations, financial reports, strategic briefs, and executive summaries.
• Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive financial information, strategic documents, and executive communications.
• Drive cross-functional strategic projects and ensure alignment with organizational financial and business objectives.
• Handle other strategic finance and executive responsibilities assigned by the Chairman and Managing Director.

Requirements:

• An MBA in Finance/Strategy from an IIM is preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in one or more of the following: Corporate Finance, FP& A, Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, or Founder's Office/Chief of Staff roles.
• Strong understanding of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP& A), budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business strategy.
• Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and business problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of ownership, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
