Key Leadership Responsibilities

The CNO will be responsible for leading and strengthening nursing services, ensuring high standards of patient care, nursing practice and regulatory compliance. The role will include:

• Developing and maintaining high standards of nursing care delivery.
• Leading nursing services across clinical areas.
• Driving quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with nursing, clinical and statutory standards.
• Strengthening nursing policies, protocols and practices.
• Overseeing nursing audits, incident reviews and corrective actions.
• Driving infection prevention and control practices.
• Planning nursing manpower, resources and operational requirements.
• Developing nursing teams through training, mentoring and professional development.
• Contributing to strategic planning, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Collaborating with medical and administrative leadership to continuously enhance patient care.
