Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Underwriter with 5-7 years of experience in
Commercial Property Insurance. The role involves evaluating and underwriting property and fire
risks, determining appropriate pricing and coverage, managing portfolio profitability, and
ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and underwrite Property and Fire insurance risks for new and renewal business.
Evaluate risk exposures, loss history, financial strength, and catastrophe-related risks.
Perform technical pricing and recommend appropriate coverage terms, limits, and
deductibles.
Conduct risk evaluation, financial due diligence, and DSCR analysis to support
underwriting decisions.

Monitor portfolio performance through loss ratio analysis and exposure management.
Assess natural catastrophe exposures and support portfolio optimization initiatives.
Utilize RMIS, SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Generative AI tools for analysis and reporting.
Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal
policies.
Collaborate with brokers, clients, claims, actuarial, and risk management teams.
