Role Description The Chief Executive Officer – Sales, Proposal Engineering and Growth is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Pune City. This role oversees overall business growth, with direct responsibility for sales strategy, proposal engineering, and the expansion of domestic and international markets. Daily activities include leading sales teams, reviewing and approving key proposals and bids, building and maintaining strategic customer and partner relationships, and driving revenue and margin improvement. The CEO will collaborate with operations, finance, and technical teams to align business plans with manufacturing capabilities, ensure competitive pricing, and maintain adherence to quality and regulatory standards. The role also involves monitoring market trends, identifying new business opportunities, setting performance targets, mentoring senior leaders, and representing the organization in high-level client meetings, industry events, and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Strong Finance skills, including budgeting, pricing oversight, and profitability management.
• Proficiency in Operations Management to coordinate production capacity, project delivery, and quality assurance.
• Experience in Business Planning, including market analysis, growth roadmaps, and performance tracking.
• Proven Sales leadership skills, with a track record in industrial or engineering solutions and key account management.
• Advanced Strategic Planning capabilities to define long-term goals, competitive positioning, and expansion strategies.
• Extensive executive leadership experience, ideally within water treatment, environmental engineering, or related infrastructure sectors.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant academic background such as an engineering degree (civil, environmental, or mechanical) and/or a business or management degree; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change, build high-performing teams, and implement data-driven decision-making.
• Willingness to be fully on-site in Pune City and travel to client locations, project sites, and industry events as required.
