About this role
Role: Fractional CEO (Real Estate)
Our Client: An established, Jalandhar-based real estate development company (20+ years in business, family-run)
Engagement Type: Fractional (part-time) leadership role, via HireWise
Location: Jalandhar (on-site) — candidates based in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Chandigarh preferred for ease of travel
Commitment: 2 days/week, flexible on which days
Duration: 3–6 months initially, with strong openness to extending long-term
Start Date: November 2026
Compensation: ₹1,50,000–₹2,00,000/month (indicative)
About the Role
The company's founder-family leadership is currently stretched across multiple ventures, leaving a gap in day-to-day leadership for the India real estate business. We're looking for a senior, hands-on Fractional CEO to step in and run operations — this is an established, functioning business, not a startup build.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive sales strategy, planning, and execution
- Oversee project execution and the project team
- Provide leadership oversight across sales, HR, and finance functions
- Manage and mentor a team of 15–20 across departments
- Report into the MD/founder family on business performance and strategy
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience (C-suite or equivalent), ideally as a CEO, COO, or business head
- Mandatory: Prior experience in the real estate industry (development, construction, or related)
- Strong sales and P&L ownership background
- Comfortable working in a founder-led, family business environment
- Eligibility: Not open to candidates currently in full-time employment elsewhere
