Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced education leader to drive the transformation of a multi-school education portfolio into a professionally managed, scalable and financially sustainable platform. The CEO will lead institutional operations, academic quality, financial performance, centralisation of support functions and strategic expansion, progressively assuming full executive responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Business & Operational Leadership: Establish professional management structures, clear accountability, standard operating procedures and performance management systems across schools.

• Academic Excellence: Improve educational standards, student outcomes, teacher development, leadership effectiveness and institutional performance.

• Financial & Commercial Performance: Drive enrolment, student retention, fee collection, cost optimisation, staff productivity and efficient utilisation of infrastructure.

• Centralisation & Digital Transformation: Develop shared services across HR, procurement, admissions, vendor management and administration. Implement appropriate ERP, MIS and performance dashboards.

• Shared-Services Business: Operationalise the approved Master Services Agreement (MSA) framework, ensuring effective service delivery, documentation, invoicing, financial transparency and regulatory compliance, with professional legal and tax support.

• People & Leadership Development: Build strong teams, assess and develop principals and functional heads, and strengthen leadership in underperforming institutions.

• Growth & Expansion: Identify new campus opportunities, partnerships, management contracts and potential acquisitions. Develop business plans, investment proposals and turnaround strategies for promoter approval.

• Governance & Execution: Implement operating plans, budgets, performance reviews and delegated decision-making frameworks, reducing routine promoter involvement in dayto-day operations.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable leadership experience managing a multi-school network or education group, with accountability for principals, operating performance and regulatory stakeholders.

• Proven track record in organisational transformation, operational excellence and business performance improvement.

• Strong commercial acumen, financial understanding and people-management capabilities.

• Experience in implementing systems, centralised functions and technology-enabled reporting.

• Ability to balance academic quality, financial sustainability and disciplined growth.

Preferred: Exposure to education shared-services models, education management structures, new campus development, acquisitions and institutional reporting.

Expected Outcomes: The CEO will establish professional operating governance, improve academic and financial performance, build scalable central functions, create a credible expansion pipeline and develop an institutionally ready education platform with significantly reduced day-to-day promoter intervention.
